Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), operator of the joint venture between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and CNL -NNPCL/CNL JV- has denied any involvement iin any activity relating to environmental degradation in its area of operations in Nigeria.
The company in a press statement signed by Esimaje Brikinn, General Manager, Policy, Government and Public Affairs, on Thursday, stated that it is aware of media reports falsely associating CNL with environmental degradation.
It therefore reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship in its operations in Nigeria.
